There are three levels of individual development:

3. All of us

And usually it takes going through certain experiences to help us move upward in that development. Sadly, most times, those experiences tend to be rough, since humans learn through pain. By becoming intentional and conscious we can take charge of our development and this is one of those opportunities. In this workshop, Luis Fernando will walk participants through learning how to listen to one another’s stories and hear the wisdom within them.  They will learn how to listen for skills, assets, and abilities.  As leaders of our communities, we need to seek input and act on it believing that others have knowledge from which we can all benefit.  I like to call this “little ‘d’ diversity.” Welcoming this perspective of diversity of thought is essential.  We are going to be part of a simulation where we can learn not just intellectually, but experientially how we all can assure success by honoring those differences and appreciating and inviting the knowledge and experience of others.
